The Leo M Ellebracht Company would like to thank the South Metropolitan Fire Protection District for the recent purchase of a Rev Group Ladder Tower rear mount aerial ladder. The apparatus selected was a 110’ NXT Rear Mount Aerial Ladder that will be powered by a Spartan Gladiator chassis with a Cummins X12 565 HP engine.

The new 4-Section Aerial Ladder Design provides features such as the AL-11 Aerial Logic Display and a 14’ stabilizer spread which offers 750 lbs. dry/500 lbs. wet tip load, up to full ladder extension. It also offers Outrigger Obstruction Detection Display System and up to 1500 GPM flow capacity water stream parallel to ladder or 90 degrees to either side from a Waterous CMU 2250 GPM Pump. The Waterous pump will feature all-electric valves that are controlled by the OMNI Pump control system.  Omni controls at each side of body, and at turntable. The apparatus NXT pump module will provide easy service access and have removeable speedlays.

The all-aluminum body will include Durable Line-x compartment finish, ROM series IV Roll-up doors, Wheel well SCBA and Fire Extinguisher Storage, EZ Hose Load and 138’ Internal Ladder Storage with a compliment of Duo-Safety ladder package which includes (1) 24 ft. 2-section, (2) 35’ 2-section, (1) 14’ roof, (1) 20’ roof, (1) 10’ attic, (1) 14’ 2-section ladder.

Additionally, the master stream will be provided by an Elkhart Scorpion XM2 monitor along with other features included but not limited to Dual Foam System with powered refill, a SMART Power 6kW generator, Fire-Tech LED scene lighting along with LED headlights and the new C-Series Whelen optical warning system components.

The South Metro Fire District is a political subdivision Incorporated in 1968. The Fire District covers over 52 square miles, including the cities of Raymore and Lake Winnebago and unincorporated parts of Cass County, Missouri and provides fire protection and advanced life support services.
