SERVICE PRICING 2011
All service work will be billed on a time and material basis.  Travel will be billed door to door, round trip.

Service Labor Rate:  $75.00 per hour

Travel:  $1.00 per mile 

NOTE: If more than one customer receives service relative to the same trip, the mileage will be allocated between the customers relative to the actual distance traveled for each customer.  Example:  First customer is 100 miles.  Second customer is 25 miles from first customer.  First customer would pay for 100 miles (versus 200 miles) and second customer would pay for 150 miles  (versus 250 miles).  Every attempt is made to reduce travel costs by combining service work, except for emergency repairs (unit out of service).  This not only reduces the cost for the customer but makes more efficient use of our service time.

Flow Testing - Sperian SCBA's:

$35.00 per unit for flow test, providing printed documentation of flow testing.  Repairs are an additional charge on a time and material basis.  $75.00 per hour plus parts.

Facepiece:  $20.00 per test, providing printed documentation of testing.  Includes Exhalation Valve opening pressure, leak test and breathing tests.

Hydro Testing  $35.00 per unit.

Quantitative Fit Testing:

Daily Rate - Minimum $525.  Covers up to 16 fit tests in a half day with an additional charge of $16 for each fit test over 16.

3 Day Rate - Minimum $930.  Covers up to 24 fit tests in 3 sessions within five days with an additional charge of $16 for each fit test over 24.

Sperian SCBA Repairs

Repairs to Survivair SCBA’s will be billed on a time and material basis plus travel.  Repairs covered by warranty are subject to the travel charge for pickup and delivery.  Pickup and delivery of SCBA’s for service other than emergency service will be combined with other travel for service to lower the cost as outlined in the travel policy above.

Amkus Rescue Systems Repair

Repairs to Amkus rescue systems will be billed on a time and material basis plus travel.  Repairs covered by warranty are subject to the travel charge for pickup and delivery.  After the first year, the warranty on defects in materials or workmanship only covers replacement parts.  Labor will be billed on a time basis plus travel.

Amkus Rescue Systems Maintenance Agreement

Cost of Agreement:
$500.00 for first system per year
$400.00 for each additional system per year
(System is defined as “AMKUS” power unit, spreader & cutter)

$100.00 Travel Charge for systems requiring more than one day of service
(Typically 3 systems or more)
